I'm so glad I read your test results......I went online to actually try and buy the Joey New York's Super Duper Lips product and your site was the first thing on my search results. I read in "Health" magazine where they had tested some of the same products and said that Super Duper gave "Mick Jagger-like results"!! That was enough for me.....I thought I HAVE to try this product!! I'm dying to have fuller lips......but I'm scared that surgery might leave me looking like I have a permanent Billy Idol snarl or something!! I hope ya'll will keep checking into these type products!! I sure wish I could find one that really works!

Thanks,
Marilyn Bullard

Thanks for saving me and my daughter some money.  Your test was wonderful ("We Test Lip Plumpers").  I was just about to order the BeneFit Lip Plump, but before doing so I decided to search the Web to find out about other brands.  Luckily, I came across your test.  I wish someone would test all products that make exceptional claims -- especially infomercials!

My experience with Revlon is absolutely horrific! I would return it, but I do not have the receipt and I am unable to get Revlon on the net. It didn't even last through my first sip of coffee - and after a simple kiss, it was all over my mouth. I tried different methods of applying (coat, blot, coat etc) but it made no difference. My best experience is with L'Oreal  Color Endure, but even THAT isn't what it claims to be! I've decided to save the $$ and buy normal stuff............

I don't know why, but Carmex definitely makes my lips appear plumper. Maybe the salicylic acid exfoliates and encourages collagen production? I don't know what it is, but there is definitely a visible difference in my lips if I don't use it, and I've been using it for about 12 years. They have a formula in a stick form now too, with sunblock in it. Thanks.

P.S. I really like your site!

Hi Gina: Thanks for your honest comments about me wishing to wear tights and womens' underwear. I am not weird, i hope. The catsuit question, hmm not sure maybe i'm just kinky, could be fun for a laugh though. Maybe you should do an article on men in tights or other womens clothes. Am i weird? Anyway let me know what you think, and take care of yourself.

Andy

Congratulations to all who collaborated on the splendid article about Jacques Fath and The Red Shoes. What a delight! Thank you.

Gina:  I love the design of the Fashion Finds Angels  cartoons.  They show how we can all look beautiful in different styles; it fits the New York scene. You go ahead with your bad self.

Giselle

Gina:  Kudos to Leanne Lin's illustrations!! Those dresses are just to die for!

Gina:  The issue, the articles, look great!  I
particularly like the swimsuit lead photo. What a hell
of a lot of work to put each issue together. Great job.

I love your site. As a clothing designer, I find it informative and inspiring. Keep it coming.

Gina:  I read your article on Frieda's Sheer Blonde products, and wanted to thank you for performing these "tests".  I have been using Sheer Blonde for about a month and a half and thought I noticed a difference but wasn't sure.  I was also concerned about how "safe" these products were for my hair.  After reading your article, I am convinced that my hair has gotten much lighter (nice) and I am no longer worried that the products may be too harsh.  I swim a lot and usually end up with green streaks throughout my hair, but using Sheer Blonde has prevented this from happening. Thanks again for the informative article.
