We won’t tell you any more about the plot of Journey To The  Center Of The Earth, there’s plenty yet to come; all of it incredible.

And at the end, Jeremy will be faced with the ultimate choice: to return to the man he was before he left Boston, or to be ruled by his heart, and let it take him wherever it will.

This epic adventure story is based on a novel written by Jules Verne. Verne literally created science fiction. From Star Trek to Star Wars, none of it would exist today had it not been for Verne.

Writing in the 1800’s, Verne predicted scientific devices and developments we take for granted today: the submarine, the aqualung, television and space travel. Virtually every one of Verne’s science fiction adventures have been made into movies we know and love. Around The World In Eighty Days. Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea. The Mysterious Island. The popularity of Verne’s stories is no accident. Each combines romance, action and adventure in a setting every one of us wondered about as children.

We at Fashion Finds loved watching this miniseries. Don’t miss it! You’ll never forget Jeremy London’s performance. It is subtle, brilliantly underplayed, full of pathos and power, and just the right touch of eroticism. He is a very physically beautiful young man. Kudos as well to Treat Williams – you’ll remember him from Prince of the City. His performance as Theodore bursts with power. He looks sensational. He seems born for this role.

The art direction is exquisite, the design, the colors (you'll love the ultra-violet blue ferns and ground cover in the jungle, and the yellow sky and orange sunsets along the beach), are tastefully and artfully executed.

The costumes are also really lovely, true to their time, with authentic looking fabrics and detailing – well done. The makeup is also fabulous on everyone. You’ll especially enjoy the interpretation on Ralna and her people. A lush and exotic, but subtle, not over done, cosmetic conception.

The miniseries premieres Tuesday, September 14th. Be there.
